Surrounding Area Developments
There are a lot of construction projects in the works along the E-470 Corridor. These projects depict the growth in the area of our future church home.
The Gaylord Rockies Resort & Conference Center, scheduled to open in late 2018, includes 1,501 guest rooms, 114 suites, over 485,000 sq. ft. of flexible meeting space, convention areas, outdoor exhibit and pre-function space, 175,000 sq. ft. of exhibit halls, 20,000 sq. ft. of outdoor patio, four ballrooms, 81 breakout rooms, four outdoor event spaces, and more.
The EastGate Warehouse/Industrial Park, already under construction, is a 294 acre industrial park in northeast Aurora, located in the northwest quadrant of I-70 and E-470. Once completed, it is projected to contain 3.5 million sq. ft. of space. Work has begun with a 400,000 square foot building.
Horizon Uptown, scheduled to break ground in 2017, is a 503 acre project that will include 1.2 million sq. ft. of retail, lodging, and restaurant space, 3,800 homes including single-family detached, townhomes, row homes, condominiums, lofts and apartments, a K-8 pilot school focused on sustainability and health, a library, recreational facilities, aquatic facilities, and more. Horizon Uptown will be located just adjacent to CCF Village on 6th Avenue and Picadilly Road.
The Picadilly Road improvement project, scheduled to begin in 2018, will allow easier access from Green Valley Ranch, Montbello, and for those crossing Colfax Avenue.
Visit the CCF Village website at ccfvillage.org for more information. God is setting CCF up to make a difference. We must finish strong!
